Earlier today I had a dream that I met Barack Obama. I was sitting on a bench somewhere, and he just randomly sits next to me, with his head in his hands. He begins to tell me how upset he was that he disappointed the American people with a phrase he said at the last debate—he knew what he was saying, but didn’t communicate it well, so his meaning was misconstrued. I told him that I was very satisfied with him , that he was doing a great job, told him how much I’ve donated in his campaign, and that I’d still vote for him even if he had a small mess up. His face lit up, he hugged me (TWICE) told me that he loved me, and will always remember my kind words. Suddenly, Michelle Obama comes and picks Barack up in her cute pink car. She shakes my hand, and thanks me for pumping some hope back into her husband. I then told her, “No, thank you two for giving me hope in this country.”
